The certification process
Any product can qualify for the flustix PRODUCT CONTENT MICROPLASTIC-FREE seal by undergoing a multi-step evaluation process. Manufacturers wishing to label their products with the flustix PRODUCT CONTENT MICROPLASTIC-FREE seal must submit product samples and relevant data to flustix and our independent partner laboratories. These laboratories analyze the samples using advanced testing methods to verify their microplastic-free status. The results of this analysis serve as the basis for determining seal eligibility, with final certification issued by accredited partners like Control Union.

flustix LESS PLASTICS Total Product is a consumer seal that certifies the reduction of unnecessary use of plastic in products. Companies from all industries can subject their products to the independent certification process. The product and packaging are both subject to the assessment. The two components are tested independently of each other and must meet the certification requirements in their respective segments in order to be successfully licensed.
