Tesco Nurture Module
Under the Tesco Nature’s Choice (TNC) standard various fruits and vegetables can be certified.
About the Standard
This program has been designed especially for suppliers of Tesco for fruit and vegetables. Control Union Certifications is authorized to carry out inspections for this program. The standard is technically like the GLOBALGAP Fruits and Vegetables standard but is more stringent on several points. Before you apply with us for inspection to obtain a TNC certificate, candidate companies must be registered with a Tesco primary supplier.
Scope
Only those producers who are certified under GLOBALG.A.P. IFA and who supply their products to the TESCO supermarket are eligible to participate.
Requirements
Tesco Approved Supplier
The producer must be linked to a Tesco-approved primary supplier.
The Approved Supplier
You must contact the certification body before executing the audit.
GLOBALG.A.P. IFA Certification
Be certified or in the process of being certified under the GLOBALG.A.P. IFA standard.
PPPL compliance
Use only plant protection products authorized on the Plant Protection Products List (PPPL) and keep records of their use
Evaluation by Authorized CB
The audit must be carried out through a Certification Body approved by Tesco.
